Beverly Hills, California – Genius Brands International, Inc. (OTCQB:GNUS), a global brand management company dedicated to providing entertaining and enriching ‘content with a purpose' for toddlers to tweens, announced that they have entered into an agreement with Small Screen Distribution to exclusively represent the company's content across all media throughout Asia. The announcement was made by Andrew Berman, Senior Vice President of Global Content Sales at Genius Brands International (GBI).
Small Screen Distribution, who will report directly to Berman, is headed by veteran content distribution executive Kerry Novick, who specialises in the strategic placement of kids and family content with leading media outlets across Asia. Key GBI properties to be represented by Small Screen Distribution include the award-winning Baby Genius, Warren Buffett's Secret Millionaires Club, Thomas Edison's Secret Lab and Stan Lee Comics, featuring its first movie, Stan Lee's Mighty 7.
“Asia continues to have a growing appetite for innovative content, particularly for kids and family entertainment, and GBI is in a position to deliver top quality programming with universal appeal that can seamlessly translate across borders,” said Berman. “Kerry's experience, expertise, and relationships throughout the entire region will be of a tremendous benefit in introducing our library to media platforms.”
“This is a wonderful time to be representing GBI and their high quality ‘content with a purpose' driven programming,” added Novick. “There is strong demand right now from broadcasters and parents in the region for programming that entertains our youngest viewers, and at the same time provides enriching value.”
Novick established Small Screen Distribution in 2004 to provide consulting services and sales representation in Asia for top-tier children's animation producers.
